If you look around there are too many travel websites that look the same and offer dated, low quality content. With Discover Rhodes we’re aiming high, with fresh news, interesting articles and useful, continuously updated information, avoiding the so usual clichés of the travel websites. We will try to cover uncommon aspects of this beautiful island, providing a wide view about what the Rhodes has to offer to its visitors.

On the technical part, the site is based on a highly customized WordPress installation, showcasing our skills in creating complete CMS solutions from of an open source application like WP.

The site is based on a WordPress installation so it can be updated directly from the guys at Fidusa. We have created for this purpose, a few custom WP plugins and some photoshop scripts to help them maintain the site.

The site is not completed yet, as many features like a reservation system and a custom build CMS system are not implemented. Currently only the front page is available but the site will be valid CSS/XHTML standards site.
UPD: The site has been redesigned.
